Project's Overview
Eye Care Management System is a full-stack MERN application designed for an eye care or optical store business. It allows customers to browse eyewear products, search and filter products, view product details, add products to cart and wishlist, place orders, book eye checkup appointments, read eye care blog articles, submit contact messages, and manage their profile.
The system also includes a separate Admin Console where administrators can manage brands, categories, products, users, orders, appointments, blogs, banners, reviews, contact messages, notifications, dashboard KPIs, reports, low-stock products, and out-of-stock alerts. The project uses Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, JWT authentication, bcryptjs, Multer, Nodemailer, React 18, React Router 6, and Axios, making it suitable for students who need a practical MERN stack academic project.

Step 5: Seed the database
npm run seed
The seed command creates sample admin, users, brands, categories, products, orders, appointments, reviews, blog posts, banners, contact messages, notifications, cart, and wishlist data.
Step 6: Run API and React together
npm run dev
