Real-Time Vehicle Breakdown Assistance Platform (VBAP) is a PHP and MySQL based roadside assistance web application designed to connect vehicle owners with verified mechanics and roadside service providers during vehicle breakdowns. Vehicle owners can raise an SOS request with their breakdown location, browse nearby service providers, assign a provider, track the provider location, approve or reject repair quotations, record payment, receive an invoice, submit ratings, and raise complaints.
The project includes three dedicated role-based portals for Vehicle Owner, Service Provider, and Administrator. It supports vehicle management, SOS breakdown requests, nearby provider discovery using Haversine distance, provider assignment, status tracking, inspection and quotation management, manual payment recording, invoice generation, reviews, complaints, provider verification, reports, and administrative master-data management.
The map functionality uses Leaflet.js with OpenStreetMap, which requires no Google Maps API key. Nearby providers are calculated using Haversine distance, while live tracking is implemented through provider GPS updates and JSON polling approximately every eight seconds.
This project is suitable for B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, BE, ME, BSc, and MSc students who need a practical final year project, major project, or minor project based on roadside assistance, vehicle breakdown management, SOS systems, PHP and MySQL development, location-based service discovery, maps, provider tracking, quotation management, billing, and role-based web applications. FileMakr can provide this project with source code, project report, documentation, and setup support.
